Stratosphere is a great place to stay for the price! Be careful tho as the resort fees & taxes may add up to more than the actual room cost! There is plenty to do in the hotel/casino itself to keep you busy! You could spend a vacation just hanging out there without seeing the rest of the strip, and still be perfectly happy! There are MANY different restaurants, covering different tastes. There are restaurants covering Mexican, Italian, American Steakhouse; plus there are different price levels, even a McDonalds! Never bored, there's plenty to do - shop in the tower shops, (a little mall), play any of the casino games downstairs, visit the sports book.. Plus, there is always the Top of the tower! Go up just for drinks, or a full dinner in the restaurant (which is slowly rotating so everyone gets a perfect view)! If that's all not enough, there are thrill rides at the Top of the Tower that will do just that, THRILL! Finally, if you are STILL looking for more - you can do what my Dad just did for his birthday, & bungee jump OFF the Stratosphere Tower! Just don't forget to get the video of it, no-one will believe you until you prove it! Great Place. Decent Price. GREAT TIME!
