Got two free rooms, requested upon reservation that they be close to each other. At arrival, they were on different floors but the concierge was happy to remedy the situation by upgrading one of the rooms. The rooms were beautiful, and we had decent views, although not of the coast. The buffet was delicious as always, but the diner was awful. We ordered sweet potato fries and the smokehouse fries. The sweet potato fries were bland, and the BBQ sauce I dipped them in tasted like ketchup and pepper. The smoke house fries was described as "crinkle cut fries topped with grilled chicken, prime rib, tomatoes, cheese and green onions". For 12$ I'm not sure what kind of meat that was, but it was not prime rib. It was mostly gristle, and inedible. Absolutely gross. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the waitress when she inquired how are meal was, and she apologized but didn't offer us a replacement or discount. Overall, would definitely stay again, seeing as it's the only non-smoking casino/hotel on the coast, but would NOT eat at the diner again.
