I've stayed at the Monte Carlo half a dozen times, and it's always nice and reasonably priced. The new area with the t mobile pavilion is nice, and it looks like they're completing new pool construction, and opening a new area where the hallway shops to the Aria used to be. Edit: when making the reservation, I'd appreciate a heads up stating something like, "just a heads up, we're doing a lot of construction, and it'll be starting just outside your window sometime around 7am. Buy some ear plugs, book a different hotel, or forego drinking and gambling, and go to bed by 11."
