Tropicana is a solid average hotel. Certainly nothing outstanding but no issues either. Everything in the room worked, the staff was nice and made sure to greet us. I loved how bright it was in the casino. Most casinos are dark but this one is well lit and has an old school atmosphere. The location of the hotel is one of its biggest drawbacks. It's at the very South end so it takes a lot of walking, Uber or taxi to get anywhere. The other major drawback is lack of restaurants. Not much here. Overall, it's not crossed off my places to stay while in Vegas like a couple of other strip hotels are.
