Refused to pay for $6,000 of damage their valet parking did to my car. Told me the video proved it arrived already damaged. Yet, oddly enough, they refused to show me the video, unless I sued them.
Told me the photo showed me handing them the key fob with all the damage already on the car. However, the cameras are around the corner of the drive. Four cameras the valet driver stops at to take a picture. There are NO cameras at the front door to the casino to have seen me hand anyone the key fob.
I knew I did not do this to my car.
They did offer to use a cell phone camera to snap a pic of the video to show me but then was quick to explain that, being a picture of a picture, I would not be able to see any of the damage.
Trust me, huge white scratches running the entire length of the car. Including all four rims and doors dented with more white scratching, on an all black car? I am quite certain it would have been easy to see.
Also, I was a copier technician for almost 20 years and it is a copy of a copy when an image loses detail. This does not happen when you take a picture of another picture using a camera.
If you are going to lie, assuming people are stupid enough to believe that lie, at least respect the person enough to put some effort into creating the lie!
Beyond this one experience though, (good thing I had a really low insurance deductible, even the deductible was something they refused to pay) the Blue Chip, Spa and all the rest really makes it a fantastic place to enjoy yourself.
(Just park your car yourself!)
