We stayed 7/2015 for 2 different nights (arrived early before our reservation at the Drury Inn and Holiday Inn had an opening / ditched the Drury Inn after a fair experience to come back to this Holiday Inn Express). We have 5 adult size members in our family and this works for us. Our room was reasonable (paid around $129 with AAA for 2 Q / 1 sofa sleeper). Will book this hotel again if in Albuquerque & will recommend.
HOTEL: Secure lock down hotel. Nice hotel with an elevator, pool, coin laundry, well lit parking lot and hot breakfast.
ROOM: Clean!!! Comfortable beds with a variety of softness pillows. Pullout sofa mattress was thin, so my son slept on the extra long couch without opening it up...found it comfortable.
PARKING LOT: Albuquerque seems to have lots of beetles that are drawn to the parking lot lights. Do not park under them and open your doors at night or you will get a car load of them.
BREAKFAST: Good variety, fresh & hot. My family loved the pancake machine. Served at a good time and maintained. Eating area is small.
STAFF: Friendly and helpful.
