our room was in the manor, opened the door and was greeted by ROACHES!!!!! I would not even put my bags on the ground. Called the front desk, was told to come back. we walked back across the street (which is a pain after traveling for 10 hours, we just wanted to relax) was offered a free upgrade to the main part of the hotel, which was a slap in the face for our inconvenience. Basically they believe our negative experience was valued at the $10 upgrade fee. What was more surprising was that they acted like it was no big deal our room had roaches. after speaking with a supervisor I was refunded the resort fee. The whole place smelled really musky and not really clean, but just covered up with stinky air freshener. Our new room in the 'Tower" had filthy duvet covers with "hairs" and "stains", wallpaper peeling off the walls and only 1 available outlet for charging phones and computers, which was located at the foot of the bed which was awkward for charging . We were only in town for one night or I would've went to another place.
