If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... The Luxor is a really cool hotel to visit when staying in Vegas. I cannot speak for how the rooms are because I have never actually stayed in the hotel before, but the Casino and general entertainment is nice. The Luxor has a nice selection of restaurants to choose from and is home to quite a few exhibits. While we were there we saw the Bodies exhibit as well as the Titanic artifacts. Both very cool and came in a bundle deal which saved us some money. The inside looks really cool and is laid out in such a way that things are easy to find. The casino is fairly large and the elevators are really cool to ride (they move up and diagonally along the pyramid). The buffet is pretty on par with other buffets in Vegas. They don't have the largest selection but it is a nice layout. My only complaint is the location. Although it is very easy to travel between Excalibur, The Luxor and Mandalay bay because of the walkways between them- to get to the rest of the strip is kind of a hike. Still, this is a must see on the list of Vegas hotels.
