I was impressed by the Resort. It is clean, beautiful, and every single one of the dozen or more staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. You might ask how I interacted with a dozen staff while attending a one day seminar. They are at every door, smiling, giving you a greeting, and opening the door. They are keeping the place spotless, and being friendly at the same time. The waitstaff, the cashier, and those staffing the convention room were all helpful and friendly. The Longhouse Buffet was an incredible value. Great food and selection, for less than a burger joint meal. I had never been to the Resort before this seminar, but I plan to go back. Maybe I caught them on a good day, but it seemed to me that there is a conscious decision to make guests feel welcome throughout the resort.
