I went here for the first time today and had a great time. I did not bring home any big winnings but I didn't lose any money either. Since it was my first trip, they gave me $50 to play on for free. I used that money all day and ended up bringing home $26 of it. Alcoholic beverages were not free. I paid $9 for a whiskey and coke, which seems kind of high. If fact, most things I saw seemed high. $3 for a snickers in the food court. $7 for a slice of pizza. $32 for the buffet upstairs. I will say though, my only other casino experience was at Quincy's 777 in Shorter, AL. There, everything was cheap and I ended up going home with $200 that I won. I want to say you could get a burger, fries and a drink for less that $4 there, but that was back in 2009 or so. Smoke was about the same in both places. Yes it's not pleasant unless you smoke too, but to me it's not a total deal breaker. It's just part of the experience. I got to see a guy win $600 and a lady won $200 on a penny slot that I had stepped away from not 5 minutes earlier, so people were winning there. Overall, it was a fun day, but I think they could do a little better with the prices on things. Non alcoholic drinks were free.
