I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was great. The rooms were dated, but comfortable. Don't look for extra plugs ?? But the noise from the bar and restaurants was horrendous. It was at least livable during the week, the music and "boom boom boom" if the base started about 10pm, and ended about 5am, but earplugs helped. Then the weekend....The casino on-site and another bar/restaurant kicked in, and sleep was impossible. I enjoyed the place, and wish I could go back, 3 stars for the hotel, but can only give it one star, if you expect to sleep. Not the hotel's fault, that's why I feel bad. When I complained, they offered to call the police, but they said the laws in Liberia allowed the noise. Oh well. A perfectly good hotel, useless. I will definitely go back to Costa Rica, which was fantastic, but never to this hotel ??
