Tropicana Aruba Resort & Casino
"Mike Graham"
We were in one of the older rooms but didn't have any complaints. We went to Aruba for the beach and pool, not our room! The room was clean and got freshened up daily by the staff. The kitchen was nice so we didn't have to eat out every day and was well stocked with dishes and utensils. There's a giant supermarket within walking distance which made getting food and snacks easy. There's a poolside bar and another pizza place that both served what I would consider good bar quality food in the US. There's also a casino walking distance across a parking lot as which has a restaurant in it (you are allowed to smoke in there which turned us off so we didn't stay). If you're picky about the room you stay in make sure you know you have one of the upgraded rooms. Otherwise the cheaper non-updated rooms are more than adequate for eating and sleeping while you aren't out enjoying Aruba!
