“Clean - Quiet - Excellent Staff - Friendly - Close to Deadwood”
Back to my favorite chain. Of the recent visits to this chain, this by far was the cleanest I have ever been too. Not sure when it was built, but they have done a great job in keeping this hotel up to date and newer looking. I was upgraded to the King, Non-smoking Suite upon request for an upgrade. BONUS! :) So, along with being within 1 hour to most of the tourist attractions; it has a Subway, Korean Food and DQ within walking distance. If you don't have a car, the shuttle will take you all the way to deadwood and local grocery for FREE. So I rank this a high value for the dollar spent. I stayed 7 nights and all were quiet and good rest. The room had the usual mini fridge, microwave, sink & cupboard. A personal thanks to the housekeeper "Hollie" for the hand written note. Just another "Personal" touch that makes you feel more than just a name and number!
Pros:
- Friendly courteous staff
- amenities and everything is working
- breakfast, staff service
- 32" LCD TV with Cable (Newer)
Cons:
- In room 219 the wireless internet fades too much (had to plug in LAN cable)
- Initial TV problems with a channel but it was fixed on day 4 of my stay
