First room (ground floor) we were given was not clean (obvious debris on carpets) and there were tens of ants in a column in the bathroom. After deliberating whether to switch hotel we decided to tell them and without hesitation they switched us to a room on the floor above. Was cleaner and no ants. No further issues, and there is a pool and a jacuzzi which is nice and staff were friendly. But cleanliness in rooms and communal areas is not great. (Nor was location but not sure how much that is a feature of the whole South lake Tahoe area - we were there in August.)
