Now, I'm a serious gambler. Not a "losing all the time, scraping for 2 cents" gambler like you might think. When I go for casino "entertainment", I go to make money AND have fun. Nobody wants to lose and I know that gambling comes with risk, however Blackjack and Craps have the best odds in all the land and both games can be won with a strategy that if used correctly can make you money (in the short term). Eventually the house always wins but guess what, everyime I've ever played at Ameristar I lose. I've never once made any money and for the first 20 times of casino runs to Black Hawk where I made the grave mistake of playing blackjack/slots at Ameristar, I lost until I finally discovered "across the street" or "The Lodge" which has helped me win back most of my Ameristar losses. What can I say is it superstition? How is it that I can win every time (at least 9 out of 10 times) when I go to The Lodge but when I play Ameristar it's lose, lose, lose, oh you have a 6 against my 20, but somehow every time pull off a 21, interesting. Nice rig. Boo Ameristar.
