In a serene neighbourhood just minutes away from the hubbub of the commercial areas and a fifteen minute walk from Piazza San Marco ( if you don't get lost! ). Hotel staff are welcoming and speak excellent English. They were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, making reservations and arranging a water taxi to the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a distinctive Ottoman flair.... canopy bed, heavy drapery and "turkish" rugs on a terrazzo floor. Bed linens are crisp and the mattress comfortable. Pillows were not to my liking but I am accustomed to down , so it is a personal preference. A few tables were out front where a drink could be had. I believe light meals were also served. The breakfast included hot and cold items . A little something for all tastes in a pleasant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
