Have mixed feelings about the place . the male employee working the front desk ( roger) seems to have an poor attitude. The lady employee was very helpful. Stayed 4 nights and wanted to enjoy the bar. Couldn't get a drink in the bar because ( what seemed to be) we were not native american. The bartenders both male ( was told he was the manager) and older skinny lady totally ignored us. We tried for 20 minutes to get a refill on our drinks, we ended up going on the casino floor to get a drink. Next night we used the back bar in the casino. Great bartender. Following night tried to get a drink in the main bar. Ignored again while the native americans were getting served at will ( bar only had 6 people in it on a Friday night ). Asked house keeping to make up the room on the 3rd day. They didn't make the bed, didn't vacuum the room ( but they made sure that they left the tip envelope on the desk), a dirty plastic cup was left on the floor, bed spread was left on the floor. Ate in the buffet on Thursday for the comfort buffet. We were there when they opened. The food was cold and I ended up getting sick that night. The menu said meatloaf, there was no meat loaf on the buffet.was told that the pork chops were replacing it ( but pork chops were also on the menu) can one say false advertising or bait and switch. We are up in the U.P at least 4 times a year and always come to the casino. We will start going to island resort casino instead maybe they know what customer service is ( did go there before and enjoyed it)
