Park MGM Grand

I visited the MGM Grand back in 2003 and 2006. It had a wonderful old"Golden Age of Hollywood" Art Deco feel to it. That feeling and style is long gone, unfortunately. The hotel feels like a shopping mall with hotel rooms. And the stores are not exclusive to Vegas, I can shop at most of them back at home. I don't remember the casino being so smokey back in 2006, but during this trip I reeked of cigarettes after walking through the casino. The higher end restaurants are nice, and we ordered room service for breakfast and it was exquisite. That being said, I wouldn't stay here again. The shining, green, "Land Of Oz" resort rising in the desert has lost its identity, and we're not having fun anymore, Toto.
