We came as a family from England as we were recommended it by family members who live in San Clemente. We had looked at YouTube videos of other people’s experiences and were really excited and looking forward to visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada. As soon as we arrived the music had started the bar was busy and people were excited for their holidays. Our rooms were cosy, I didn’t particularly enjoy not having a window but I guess you pay more for that. It was clean and basic and the Cleaner was very accommodating we loved the Towel sculptures!! We did some exploring of the casino and the deck and the buffet and all was lovely and we went to a couple of shows and the singers were great. The food at the buffet was decent and the formal dinner was quite nice although lacked flavour. The burger place was the best they were lovely! The pool was the most disappointing part for me as I was expecting maybe an adult only one but there were only hot tubs for the adults and when it’s hot outside it’s not ideal. I also think the kids ruled the hot tubs but there’s not a lot you can do I guess. The staff however were very friendly and helpful so can’t complain about them. All in all it was a good experience and the excursions were good but I wouldn’t do it again.
