Overall, negatives far outweigh positives with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The beds don't have duvet covers; instead, they put a standard bed sheet below and above the duvet. Throughout the night the dirty duvet slips out from between the sheets. The beds are also extremely soft, but with no support, so you'll wake up with back pains if you're used to the support. Air conditioning doesn't work in the rooms, so it gets overly hot at night.
The hotel generally feels worn down in all areas, and doesn't feel clean. The pool area wasn't open, but it didn't look inviting anyways. Getting charged 25/night for resort fees for the closed pool and the wifi we didn't use is laughable. It is also extremely noisy at all times, especially with people slamming doors (no door stoppers) and paper-thin walls.
We ate at Park Prime Steakhouse, which had great food, but the service was slow and they didn't call us when we put our name down for a reservation. The casino had a ton of tables that weren't open, making for a crowded experience. I guess the interactions with staff were good, and the only other thing that we can say was a positive aside from location. Would not return here again.
