This place was totally nice without being very good at all. I stayed in the same room for 15 nights, that’s right, 15 nights in lovely Bally’s. My carpet had two unknown ‘sticky spots’ that I learned to not step on and my toilet required at least two flushes to even clear itself of pee. Only 4 of the 8 elevators were functioning which caused a wait of nearly 20 minutes on several occasions. The king size bed was great and the staff was very friendly until I asked for a new room. Even with my extended stay it seemed they just didn’t have anything available with a working toilet or dark places on the carpet I dare not touch. Also they cut the water off 4 different times when I was there for repairs, I’m sure most guests with a shorter stay wouldn’t have noticed but unfortunately for me I did. It’s a nice stay for the price or if you’re looking to relive the grandeur of a Holiday Inn in the early 1990’s.
