My family is originally from Cleveland Mississippi, we went down there November 10, 2017 for a wedding. Since it was Delta State homecoming we had to reserve a room at Harlow's casino. The rooms were older, smelt like mildew. There was blonde hair on the bathroom floor my hair is black. The cleaning crew walked in the room without permission on two occasions insisting that the room needed to be cleaned. Mind you this was after check in. The casino experience was an joke. You would be better off riding across the Mississippi Bridge throwing your money out the window.
My experience with Harlow's got worst after checkout. On November 13, 2017 I realized that my Dooney and Bourke purse was missing. I called the hotel they confirmed they had it and advised they would mail it to the address on file. Due to the holidays I knew it would take a week or so at best to recover my belongings. On November 27,2017 I called back and was transferred to Shelia. She informed me that she was the only person who had the authority to fed ex articles left behind by guest. She confirmed my mailing address and assured me that my purse would be mailed that day. I followed up with the hotel on December 5, 2017 for the tracking number. Imagine my disgust to hear that they had not mailed off my purse. When I followed up with Shelia to ask about the breakdown in communication and go over the time line she told me that it was not an priority. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Her lack of concern for guest is troublesome considering the rates are high.
