Small, quaint, and mostly local little casino in the heart of Downtown Henderson. Quite far from the Strip. They have new as well as classic gaming machines. Their restaurant has especials every single day but my favorite is Friday's: Filet Mignon, Maine lobster tail, jumbo shrimp cocktail, clam chowder (one of the best I've had), and dessert all for $25. Downside is: you can't make reservations, only put down your name and they call you when the table is ready. Bar is big for the size of the casino and bartenders are nice. Since it's a small casino, it smells pretty strong of cigarettes even though they try really hard to make it better. However after a few minutes in there you go nose-blind. Parking is free here. Casinos on the Strip are expensive to gamble at and they charge for parking, so Emerald Island is a nice alternative.
