Wonderful 4-star hotel, with a 'New York City'-vibe/theme (obviously) throughout. Recently stayed up on the 33rd floor there, during my 'mini-vacation' for 3 days with my girlfriend, and boy, WHAT a VIEW from up there! The 'New York New York' Hotel is entirely self-contained....plenty of restaurants (the food at the Italian pizza shop inside the hotel proper there was EXCELLENT, by the way! Try it, you won't be sorry!) to choose from in the hotel proper, as well as a plethora of convenience stores, gift shops, snack shops, bars, gambling/casino areas, etc.! Our room was VERY nice, and featured a full-size wardrobe with hangers, a large bed, a large flat screen TV, writing desk, two VERY comfortable club chairs, etc. The bathroom was well stocked, with plenty of towels, washcloths, bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The bathroom also featured a built-in hair dryer, and a built-in shaving/makeup mirror, which my girlfriend loved! All the staff we encountered there were VERY NICE and hospitable, the hotel proper AND our room were both VERY clean, bright and inviting throughout - so, we've decided to make the 'New York New York' Hotel, OUR hotel, when we return to Las Vegas! We cannot WAIT to go back for another mini-vacation in May, 2018! Why the 4-star rating? 2 reasons: Everything is SO expensive (although that's not just a 'New York New York' Hotel issue, it's a Las Vegas-WIDE issue)! I wish the shower in our room would have had a 'detachable' showerhead, like we have in our shower at home. Honestly, we missed having that one, simple amenity during our stay - just saying! We'll be back real soon, 'New York New York' Hotel, and thanks for the memories (so far)!
