First, I want to say that we went on vacation and had an amazing time. One day was spent pulled off of the beach and in a pretty hard- selling sales pitch for joining their travel club. We decided to do this to keep us on our once a year vacation plan, and now- a year and a half later-
I simply cannot get a vacation booked. I have spent the entire morning trying: I called the resort 12 times and 10 of the times I was hung up on (maybe accidentally?) but that is quite a lot, and the people who were so available and kind to us when we were buying the vacation club package for many thousands of dollars are simply unavailable to us now. They will "call us back later." Several days have gone by and as we are traveling with other folks and are causing them delay, we are unsure how to proceed.
There were several nice people who tried to help for a few minutes, but no one would actually help us book the trip. When we call the prescribed number, we wait for 30 minutes at a time with fun music playing but no one to help us. Online says we owe $700, which makes no sense because we have paid so many thousands of dollars and not been there sense.
I begged to speak to a general manager to no avail.
