A very nice cozy Hotel but requires some remodeling and new mattresses. We enjoy going during the weekends and the staff are very friendly and just like family. Some constructive feedback consists of not enough staff to support their customers. This is most obvious in the cleaning staff for the hotel and especially the buffet. The owners continue to support the cigarette smoker and even though they have designated non-smoking areas and a filtration system the cigarette smoke continues to filtrate into the hotel rooms which is disgusting. If you're a cigarette smoker you'll be fine there if you're not then you may to choose somewhere else. It's disturbing nowadays that an employer will continue to support this type of habit especially when secondhand smoke is so dangerous to their patrons and their employees. In addition on the state of Iowa continues to support it as well which is even more concerning .It just goes to show you that greed seems to be the governing Factor for this property.
