If it were possible to give zero stars and leave a review I would.
We were scheduled for the 3/10/18 6:30pm cruise only to stand around with several other would be customers outside of the ship with no staff present. No one was in the office and another unhappy customer was told that no one from jacks or better showed up for the morning cruise that same day. Clearly the staff knew it was canceled because none of them showed, but these unprofessional jerks couldn't even bother emailing those of us who reserved and paid online prior.
Then I call this morning to get an explanation, I let the woman who answered know we had reservations for the prior night expecting her to take over the conversation and some customer service to kick in, her exact reply was,"OK." She claims to not know what happened but I don't buy it because obviously the captain, bartenders, dealers, and other staff knew it wasn't going down because not one of them was present.
I'm getting my money refunded for the tickets but who cares! The gambling boat is the only reason my wife and I came to Galveston for our 1st wedding anniversary. We ended up going to Pleasure Pier and visiting a couple area bars to try to salvage the night, but that was our plans for tonight, now WTH are we supposed to do in this little town? We drove 4 hours from home, wasted hundreds of dollars on a hotel we really have no need to stay another night at, and straight had our first wedding anniversary tainted by Jacks or Better.
Going thru the reviews now I see this isn't the first time this has happened, so if you want to gamble, don't let that gamble be on this company and if they decide to actually show up for their job!
