Probably the worst I’ve ever been treated in quite sometime.
Let’s start this with some background.
First, me and my girlfriend had traveled to McAlester to go on a hiking trip the following morning. A mile from our hotel, we wanted to relax and unwind at the casino, have a drink or two, play some slots. We signed up at the Players Club, ladies were friendly. We used our state issued IDs. Issued cards. Then, before we sat down to play we thought it would be nice to get a drink. So we walked over to the bar. Wasn’t greeted or acknowledged. Two other patrons walk up and the female bartender gets the first guys order but the second guy says ‘they were before me’ and she takes our order. They didn’t have our drinks so we decided on Coronas, then she abruptly asks for our IDs. No biggie only that we’re in our mid 40s and we haven’t had a drop of alcohol yet. The young female bartender looks at my girlfriends ID, which is out of state Arizona ID, and it has the corner chipped off. It’s not hiding any expiration date whatsoever and says ‘I can’t accept this sorry’ and takes the next persons order. She was beyond rude.
So here’s my question Choctaw Casino: if her ID was good enough to gamble there and be issued a Players Club card, why wasn’t it good enough for a drink?
We will never set foot in another Choctaw Nation Casino ever again for the way we were treated. Be forewarned
