4/9/2017 - Just a recap - I was so disappointed during my stay that I emailed Boomtown this review - I received a phone call and email from Lidia - Operations Manager and she apologized for everything. She offered to take care of my husband and I if we decide to return, not sure about returning, we have not considered returning but if we do I will post another review.
JUST A BAD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. DISGUSTING SMELL IN THE ROOM.
COURTNEY THE HOTEL SUPERVISOR WAS TERRIBLE AND DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO ANYTHING, SHE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THE ISSUES WE HAD WITH THE ROOM.
We staying in Boomtown on Friday 30th checkout on Saturday 31st. We stayed in a standard double queen non smoking room. We checked in and were out all day until 11pm Friday night, my husband and I came back to the room and turned the cool vent on since it was warm inside the room. As soon as we turned on the vent,there was a horrible smoke or some type of smell. I called front desk and we were told there were no rooms available so there was nothing they can do for us but have someone bring up air freshener, it was late and we were tired so I did not insist on anything. I sprayed the room but the smell was there all night. I was not able to go to sleep all night and stayed in the bathroom because that was the only place that did not smell horrible. I called again and asked for the supervisor and was told the manager was not on but I can leave a message. I left a message and someone named Courtney called me . I explained my issues about the room, also that I started having headache from whatever was coming through the vent. She first tried to discredit everything I said to her and basically called me a liar. She said they will start an investigation, I asked her to call me and let me know what happens.
She said she can't do that since it was an internal investigation, she also did not apologize to me at anytime during the conversation or offer any type of solution - which I was not looking for any because I don't want to go back to Boomtown ever again. I have a lot of family that are always visiting Boomtown and staying overnight, I have alerted them of my experience.
