This place is ON THE ONE and I LOVE IT! The people there TOOK CARE OF ME LIKE I WAS FAMILY! I stayed there long enough to become like family and for it to become my home. LOL Seriously though, I have never been as sad to leave a place. I have never had all of my needs and request taken care of by staff as attentive and courteous as the friendly folks at the Locomotive Inn. It was a wonderful not to have to worry about anything and to just concentrate on doing the job that I was there for. Yes, I'm naming names. I loved Tess', Sharon, Krystal, Stephanie and Christian; and there are more whose names I can't recall and I'm sorry. I never wanted for ANYTHING. WHATEVER I NEEDED, coffee, towels, cups, soap, whatever it was, whatever time, they took care of it! I wish there was a Tess and a Sharon in every extended stay lodging. When I say CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN! that is exactly what I mean and these ladies out here DO NOT PLAY! They are ON IT and I appreciated that so much to make me safe and comfortable. Maintenance staff on top of everything! Everything in good working order and dependable. EVERYTHING! Premises SECURE AND SAFE always and Christian with maintenance and security made sure of it. Did I forget the free breakfast!?! It's not what you would expect when you think about "free breakfast". Oh MY! Not too many places will get you Mmmm BISCUITS AND SAUSAGE GRAVY with free breakfast. Again, LIKE FAMILY they will also feed you. Hardees right across the street and I didn't bother going because everything I wanted to eat was right there at the BREAKFAST and very GENEROUS! The only things I would have changed about the stay are the size of the rooms and the hot water tanks- a bit small; but in the end that's structural and it is probably the way they can provide the lodging at such an economical rate. PLUS-- I forgot you also get free daily passes for use of the Locomotive Gym/Fitness center next door which is very nice. I cannot say enough good about this place and my experience here--I need to go back and change my stars-- I give FIVE - fresh baked cookies in the lobby each evening. :) I don't know where else I've been shown such hospitality so I needed to make sure others know this and how much I appreciated it.
