Husband loved it. He'd give just the steak a five star rating. He enjoyed a Porterhouse & would recommend this location as having a great steak. ( My bad experience, and why it's only a four star. ...not a five. My husband & I rarely treat ourselves to an expensive meal out. But on this night, he surprised me and said he wanted to take me somewhere special. He'd asked family and friends in this area, where could we get a good Prime Rib and Steak & the consensus was that Saltgrass Steak House was a favorite. We got sat right away and were sat nearest the servers in and out doors. I would have appreciated the window views, I do love this river and it's much more romantic then the constant action of kitchen doors. Had good service, once she came around, seemed she had a spread out area to serve. I had our menus closed and set aside since he knew what he wanted, because we were both so thirsty & hungry and i know my husband, he gets impatient when ten people go by us in ten minutes, and none have asked for our drink order yet.I was so excited because the one & only thing I wanted ...literally the only thing I wanted.... ...was Prime Rib. We are set to order when our server informed me that they ran out. I was taken back, I did not have a back up plan. I panic ordered, which is what happens when my husband is ready to order and is not willing to miss the opportunity to order now that she is before us, asking for our order. I opened the menu and pointed. I thought, in a daze. My dinner arrived and my husband thought it was a mistake. Since, already a waiter had approached the table about to set down two bottles of beer that were definitely not ours. A large white plate with a sad quad shrimp skewer and plated with a dollop of white potato, next to a flat white chicken breast. Presentation was sad. I was sad. I am the only person we know that has had a bad experience there. All because they ran out of the ONLY reason we went there. And I panic ordered. My husband wont ever let me live it down.)
