In 2016 we had our honey moon in this hotel. Without any doubt, one of the most beautiful hotels with exceptional rain forest views and beach, but with few caveats. Be prepared to be nickel and dimmed for everything. The hotel didn’t have any shuttle service to the town, so we had to go with super pricey car rental service from the hotel. Be aware of pressure sale timeshare sellers in the lobby. Unfortunately, we took the bait and sat through a supposedly 90 minutes presentation that turned out to be 4 hours and ended up with a big insult. Fortunately, they couldn’t fool us with their timeshare vacation club. They charged our credit card after we left the hotel and repetitive phone calls and email went without answer.
