Really, really cool restaurant. I wish more restaurants followed the theme that Continental absolutely nails. It's something like a 1950's - 1960's Space Age design. I can't do it justice by writing about it - just look at the pictures. You'll be impressed. It really is a breath of fresh air from so many other restaurants that follow generic, boring designs. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner this past Saturday night - no reservations necessary. We got the table we wanted on the island-type platform by the entrance. It's like a circle of small tables, surrounded by a stream of water with a fireplace in the middle. Once again - just look at the pictures. The menu is super eclectic, I'm not even really sure what I'd call the cuisine. We each got salads (I got the Caesar), which we absolutely loved, and I also got the French Onion Soup Dumplings. I've been seeing these pop up in more restaurants lately, and everywhere I've gotten them so far I've really enjoyed them. My favorite soup mixed with one of my favorite types of food - can't go wrong. These seemed to be bready on the inside with the soup soaked in. You could actually cut them without all of the soup spilling out, which was nice because they came out HOT. They were so tasty - a flavor blast of French Onion Soup. There's so many things on this menu that I want to try, I'll just have to come back for another meal or three. It's a shame how far "The Playground" has fallen, but I'm happy to see Continental going strong here.
