Pros: has nearly everything you need, in the middle of nowhere. Convenience store, hotel, 2 restaurants (the prime rib is INSANELY good), and a really nice pond with ducks and well done landscaping. Entertainment on the weekends. Very aesthetically pleasing. Petting zoo with the friendliest donkey in the world. Random giant cow statue outside by the parking lot is fun and quirky. You can walk to the California state line from this property. Dog friendly.
Cons: being a desert oasis, they kind of have a "deal with it, what else are you gonna do" attitude. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. The blankets are paper thin. There are no coffeemakers in the rooms. I asked 2 different employees about this. One said she didn't know why, but management knows people don't like it and they don't care. The other said people were using the sheets to clean the coffeemakers with, owners management got upset and took them all out of the rooms. Sounds like bs to me, but whatever. Be prepared to purchase any coffee you want to consume. There is duck poop everywhere around the pond so watch your step.
