I left my original review up below this so that everyone can see that there are some differences... Was there again recently and had a much better experience. They still don't like coming over to the machines to see if you need a drink and when you go to the bar they have a tendency to want to sit on the phone. House keeping was so friendly, the door persons are still some of the most caring I have ever met and the cashiers are absolutely lovely. Front desk could use some tips and joshing up the customers (most of us had a long drive) and when a machine goes down get up and go check on it don't make your patron sit and worry while you talk shop about the rooms, they will still be there when you get back to the desk. October 2017 I was told so many positive things about the historic Franklin Hotel that I was really surprised how I felt when I left. My husband had a great time his anniversary was fantastic. Me on the other hand was left wanting. While we were gambling the only person that was able to get a drink was my husband the girls entirely ignored my existence when I asked for something I was looked at like I didn't belong there. I know I'm not the regular class of clientele that they have but I saved money up just to go there for our anniversary I expected to come home happy not feeling so wanting. There was however an older guy that worked the front doors that I absolutely loved, he made me feel like I did belong there, he made me feel like I was important every time my husband and I were on a machine when we would go up he would come over to the machine and talk to me.
