I've eaten here about 4 times now. I don't know why I return other than they are open all night. Every time I visit though I order the Chinese combo.
The price and food are both fair, but not quite horrible. This trip I ordered the beef and black bean, orange chicken, chow mien and a can of Hawaiian sun which I hadn't had in a decade or more. I hoped the beef and black bean would have some flavor, as I tried the beef and broccoli the previous visit a year ago and remembered it being flavorless.
This visit was much like the past. The orange chicken was kinda mushy, the chow mien had almost no flavor to it, the beef and black bean was mainly bell pepper with meat smothered in a sauce much like the beef and broccoli sauce (minus broccoli, add bell pepper).
Nothing on my plate had really good flavor. All I can say is this place loads you up with food. For the $6.99 combo you get a few pounds of food and its enough to feed 2 people. I never finish it all due to amount and flavor.
I think I need to try something totally different on my next visit. Maybe one of the burgers or the Loco Moco, I also noticed a french dip on the menu this time. Perhaps something else there will hit the spot.
