If you’re thinking “Oh, I actually can go to Chipotle rather than driving out of my way to Qdoba because Chipotle now has queso..” don’t do it!! Obviously a company-wide issue, but it’s honestly terrible. The consistency is like forcing a cheddar cheese block to melt in a hot pan and then adding copious amounts of flour— super grainy and tastes nothing like “normal” queso you would get anywhere else. I understand their issue with not having Velveeta-like queso because it compromises their naturally-sourced status, but take a note from the mom and pop Mexican restaurants and use the white queso that is creamy, rich, and natural!
Regarding the individual store— pretty average space and is located in the same parking lot as TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Starbucks. This is convenient sometimes, but makes close parking actually hard to find during peak shopping times.
