McIntyre Wild Area is absolutely...nothing but wild! When you enter Thompson Street, you'll soon come to a fork in the road. If you're looking for nice scenic waterfalls and a place to jump in the river...go right at the fork onto Rock Run Road. There's a lower, middle, and upper falls. The upper falls has a little place to jump in the water from about 15 feet above the river. If you go left at the fork onto McIntyre Road, it'll lead you up the hill for some great views that are just over the edge of your passenger's side. There's nothing but wilderness. It's all fantastic!
