We enjoyed the fountain view and had no issue paying what we paid for our room. However, I have to agree with one reviewer who noted that Bellagio has difficulty providing satisfactory customer service to people of color.
We arrived at the Bellagio cafe for an early dinner. The hostess asked us to wait to be seated. The fact that the cafe was almost 80 percent empty was not lost on us. After several minutes, we were finally seated after a white couple lined up behind us. The couple was seated at the same time that we were seated -- no waiting for them.
We chose the Bellagio in part because we had heard of similar issues at the Venetian. Now, the Bellagio joins that list.
