The parking garage is difficult to find a place close to the elevators, check in and get to room - elevators need replacement buttons - can’t see numbers on interior plates- not well marked. Hotel is clean, beautiful decor and a nice selection of shops. The hotel check in was great, very friendly staff, it was quick and no problems. Without using the valet parking it’s a long walk from garage to hotel desk to room with luggage, No updates in rooms for a couple years now, I received comps in the past but hadn’t visited in the last year / booked a room for a return trip for the night and the cost was high for the quality of the room. A/c would not adjust- it stayed cold no matter how high the setting was adjusted- nice for hot weather but froze all night long without an additional blanket. The casino payoff - doesn’t exist, I think that’s why I stopped coming and it’s left a bad image for the future. After playing several hours - no wins- not even a few bonuses - I spent a great deal of money trying to win just once- it’s a very poor payback. Walked over to the Nugget and machines were a little newer, nicer facility and paid a few times. Returned to L’Auberge only to give back any winnings from the Nugget but wanted to be closer to our room. Nice to get away - even if I don’t win I hope to have fun giving my money away - would like to see more payback - 30 cents on a $3.00 spin is not Fun!!! Hope some improvements are made if I choose to give it another chance. If you like a good place to eat seafood “Seafood Palace” on Enterprise is terrific.
