It may be just me but i expect a level of service when i come to the Hilton. So let me share my experience.
The guys at the door was fine, he held the door open and said 'ello mate - so far so good.
Then I went to the bar and waited a few minutes for the barman to finish his conversation with his mates. So it took me 3 -4 minutes to get served at an empty bar - not terrible in the grand scheme of things but lame when i'm paying a tenner per drink.
What really annoyed me was when I approach a waitress to ask if there was a quiet place for a conference call and all i got was, "this is all we have" while not even breaking stride on her way to deliver more excellent customer service.
All in all a bit disappointing ...
