Hey all, I enjoyed 2 days in Venice and want to share my experience at the "Ai Mori d'Oriente Hotel". We arrived by the train at the train station of Venice and needed to walk about 20 minutes to the hotel, cause it was our first time. When we arrived, we got our keys and a lot information about the room and offers (Boat trip around Venice or drinks at a rooftop bar). The hotel service accompanied us to the room and informed us about the service of the hotel. Near the hotel you have a lot of bars and restaurants. All important sights of Venice is about 10 -20 minutes away. The cleaning service was not good, because they just clean the room, but they did not refill the glasses, cups and shampoo. I needed to go to the hotel service and get it by myself. The worst thing though was the shower. The construction of the bathroom is really bad, if you take a shower, the floor is all wet. You need to take your towel to not stand in water. That's really uncomfortable in my opinion. Overall the Hotel was still okay and the breakfast good in the morning. So I cant recommend this hotel, if you care about the room you want to sleep. But the location was good and the breakfast too. Hope you have a better picture of expectation of the hotel. Best wishes
