Ridiculous non refundable pet deposit of $50.00 per pet ~per night. I don't know why they have policy accepting pets, when CLEARLY, PET'S ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT WELCOME TO STAY IN HOTEL WITH GUEST'S. MOST 5 STAR HOTELS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CHARGE AN EXCESSIVE NON~REFUNDABLE FEE/DEPOSIT OF $20.00 per pet ~per night with much more potential of damage costs. Hotel looks lovely,. Lobby decor nicely done, and I am sure room's, & service are as commendable as the excellent service in the Casino, & Restaurant. Unfortunately, when asking such a outrageous payment as required to travel with a beloved pet , to stop and Enjoy this mini resort as part of a vacation destination, I , as I'm sure, most other traveler's will pass, in favor of finding a more welcoming venue to spend vacation monies, where guest care of a 4 legged family member doesn't seem so distasteful to the management. Better to change policy to Pets not accepted, than to express such obvious objection of beloved pets. Such a fun, exciting, & growing destination, left us very disappointed. Hopefully, this will be recognized as a fundamental mistake, & soon be corrected to match the overall successful impression The Shoshone Rose makes.
