A must while in Nassau
We are back from a three night gambling, drinking and eating extravaganza on the Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas. While the cruise was typical of a Royal Carribean cruise, one of our two port days was Nassau. So rather than go to the Atlantis as in the past, we went to the BaHa Mar. the first taxi driver wanted $25 per person, and there was four of us, each way. Of course like any bargain hunting gambler, I approached another and was told $30 for “all” four of us each way. So off we went. We set up a return time and she was back 10 minutes early. Worked out great. As for the casino, beautiful. All of the large windows, ice cold air conditioning, complimentary drinks and friendly people convinced me I’d made the right decision. Even though we only had a few hours, we signed up for the players club They give you a free spin where you can win up to $200 in free play, I received $5.00. Typical. Oh and a sweet BaHa Mar ink pen. All and all is was a great experience. I took away a few hundred extra dollars, drank a half dozen or more free drinks and added another casino to my list. I’ll go back when we cruise to Nassau again.
