Had reservations for 7:30 in early June. Every table was filled. Wait staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about their food. The restaurant is old with wood floors which add to its southern charm. And it can get a bit cramped since they have limited floorspace for so many tables (make sure you're comfortable with a little tighter spaces during busy hours).
The food was excellent. We split pimiento cheese with (very, very thin) "flat bread," and it was very good (not even a fan of pimiento cheese). I had their seared salmon with shrimp succotash for my main course. I cleaned my plate it was so delicious! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and it lived up to the buzz about it being one of the best places to eat in Charleston.
