I recently stayed the night at this hotel on the way back from a larger trip. The Stratosphere is conveniently located on the strip, though it is at the far end. If you are driving in (rather than flying) that might be to your advantage; it was extremely easy to get to and to park. The staff member at the check-in desk was extremely polite and helpful. She was even able to offer a more comfortable room than the one I originally booked. They are finishing up some renovations so there were areas (escalators and doors) that were blocked off. However, it didn't impact my stay significantly.
