Boomtown has without a doubt became the most horrible casino on the coast. The building is not well kept, there are very few machines to choose from, the card readers on a lot of the slots won’t read your card, on slots you don’t get bonuses, we didn’t see anybody hit anything decent at all (I’m talking a couple hundred dollars as “decent” and I don’t really consider that too decent especially if you’re a max bet player). They’ve even made it to where the cash out machines will give you your paper money but spit out a ticket for your change, this gives you the impression that they are so money hungry that they’re hoping that you will just throw those tickets away and not go stand in line to collect your change at the cashier. I would give it zero stars if this was an option but, I do have to say that they have one thing going for them and this is the food, they do have an awesome buffet and coffee shop/bakery. If you stop in for food do yourself a favor, just pay cash for the food and then go somewhere else to play.
