I usually stay here while I'm traveling for work. The Game is a great all around sports bar with the usual bar fare. I'm giving it four stars in spite of the dessert because my previous visits had been much better and it didn't seem fair to dock the whole place because of what appears to be an isolated incident.
I ordered an apple dessert (can't remember the name off hand) that sounded fantastic on the menu. When I got it, where I was expecting a chunky apple filling was much, much closer to a caramel-y soup with small apples tossed in it. The apples were sparse enough I had to fish for them. There was about a whole can of whipped topping on top of the caramel-y soup, and about a scoop's worth of ice cream. The whole mixture was contained in a dessert bowl that looked like a fried tortilla shell that a taco salad would come in (forgive my lack of culinary vocabulary).
Seriously, the dessert was sketchy enough that I figured it was an anomaly and someone had thrown something together right before they got off work. It didn't seem reflective of the other food I'd had there. So I eliminated it and gave four stars for my experiences excluding that apple pie soup type dessert thing.
