The ship was amazing and was very high-tech/modern. The casino was very small. Drinks were easy to get at any of the bars. Food was just ok. Not quite what we are used to and not up to the level of even Carnival’s food. Steakhouse was just ok as well. The pizza was very good and the Tepenyaki/hibachi restaurant was our go-to after being let down by the main dining room/steakhouse. You can only eat so much pizza though. It seemed as if they’re very new to the casino game. I was playing blackjack, two hands at a time/$50 hand and was asked to move so a $10/hand newbie could sit. I explained I didn’t want to move, but that wasn’t an option, I was made to move anyway. On another table, playing table max/$300, my wife wasn’t allowed to sit unless playing even though nobody was waiting to play and the table had several spots available. Towards the end of the cruise, several bars ran out of sprite.. the last night, I had to go to our own room and bring down sprite from our mini-bar so we could have a cocktail while playing. It was a vacation, nonetheless, so it was still fun. We read a lot of negative reviews on MSC before going and we tried to form our own opinions, but the majority of them turned out to be true when it comes to the food.
