The hotel rooms are pretty nice, head & shoulders above anything else in the area. It has modern design & was well upkept. Our room had a microwave & mini fridge which would be wonderful during an extended stay The food at the 1991 restaurant tasted excellent, with large portions! The servers were friendly & helpful, but it looked as if they were too busy, and wait times were a little long. I would have appreciated a smoke-free path from the hotel to the restaurant, as your forced to navigate the casino floor in order to get through. We went to a comedy show in the ballroom; I expected a theater with plush seats, but instead it was just regular chairs packed in pretty tightly... The room was smaller than what I expected, had it look like all that heavy and light and equipment was just tacked on as an afterthought. Kind of felt like a concert in the gymnasium? The show itself was great, and I'm happy that I went, but I expected more amenities from the facilities in exchange for the ticket price. The casino is a casino, a great place to become instantly rich and/or lose all of your money..... dunno what else to say about a casino.
